The Beaded Moose is offering "classes on demand"
Classes on demand is intended to allow our customers the flexability to take a class they have been wanting to take but their schedule did not allow. If you have a class in mind that you are wanting to take, call the Moose and we will work with you to accomidate your schedule. Allow us at least a week to coordinate with the instructor.
Basic Beading and Beyond with Dora
Learn the basics from start to finish. You will learn about the tools
and materials needed to complete your creation as well as the proper
techniques and a lot more. This class is a MUST if you are wanting to
learn how to bead like the best.
Beaded Earrings and Beyond with Dora
This is a great class for the newborn beader. Learn to make basic, head
pin,wire wrapped and linked earrings. We will demonstrate all
techniques that will allow you to make your own creations that you can
wear when you leave.
Basic Chain Maille with Scott
In this class you will learn the ancient art of chain maille. you will learn how to properly open and close the jump rings. you will be learning the Byzantine weave, a great beginner weave and still my favorite!!
Basic Kumihimo Weave with Bronwyn
Learn to do Japanese braiding to make a necklace (or bracelet) using the Kumihimo disk. You will need to prep your materials prior to class. Cut 8 pieces of cord 1-1/2 yards each, dip each end in fray check let dry, and wind cord onto bobbins (they open for easy loading). Now you are ready for class!!
Basic Flat Peyote or spiral Peyote with Sharon
Learn how to do the Peyote stitch. This stitch is used in a variety of patterns and projects.
Wire wrapped sea glass with Ency
You will wire wrap sea glass using a triangular sling technique. During this 1 hour class you will be wrapping up to 3 pieces. Learning techniques that cover making a coil, spring, & bail. You will learn how to check for secureness of the wrap. Your creations may be used for pendants, earrings or for glass markers. Class fee includes tools, craft wire and up to 3 pieces of glass.
